Is FOOD Your Patient’s DRUG?

Tuesday, January 29 |  5:30pm-6:30pm

Unhealthy food addiction triggers chemical reactions in the part of the brain called the reward center, which is the same part of the brain that activates when a substance abuser uses a drug of choice. Food addiction often leads to physical, emotional and social consequences. This presentation will discuss the behaviors, consequences and support needs for people who are addicted to food.
