As technology and medical interventions continue to advance, essential holistic practices, such as the use of touch, are in danger of being underused or forgotten. This presentation introduces the various ways we can effectively utilize touch to promote healing and connection with patients and how to recognize when touch can be triggering or culturally inappropriate. Understanding and effectively using touch allows us to connect with our patients on a deeper level and fully meet their individual needs, ensuring the best possible treatment and care for each person.
