Pain in the Elderly CEU

Tuesday, August 28 |  5:30pm-6:30pm

As the number of individuals older than 65 years continues to rise, frailty and chronic diseases associated with pain will likely increase, and pain will continue to be a more common symptom. As such, healthcare professionals will face a significant challenge in the pain management of older adults. This presentation provides insight into assessing pain and determining if a patient is a “pain seeker” or is truly experiencing pain.
